LATEST PERSONAL WORK - Nepal, May/June 2018.

2018... 3 years on.

The devastating earthquake that rocked Nepal in April 2015 left an estimated 9000 dead and injured another 22,000.  Entire villages were flattened and hundreds of thousands were left homeless in what was the worst natural disaster to hit the country in nearly 100 years.

3 years later and many villages are still repairing the damage..  Important historic sites are being painstakingly reconstructed both in and around Kathmandu and countless other areas.  In remote rural areas that lack necessary infrastructure, much of the work, whether sawing timber or crushing stone, is being done by hand.
