Marshalling at the Goodwood Motor Circuit

According to the Goodwood website -

"The Goodwood Members’ Meeting is a new style of motor racing event, conceived by Lord March to recreate the atmosphere and camaraderie of the original BARC Members’ Meetings held ‘in period’ at Goodwood through the 1950s and 1960s.

Uniquely, as well as a full programme of racing, the Members’ Meeting offers visitors the chance to see demonstrations of racing cars never seen here in period. "

I took the opportunity at this years MM74 to take a look at the work of the volunteer marshals who work at all BARC run events looking after many aspects of the racing such as fire safety, pit lane safety, radio operation etc.

The Members Meeting is a great place to see historic period cars racing - but without the crowds of the big events such as the Revival.
